Sophia Young is a second-year undergraduate student at Harvard College, where she is a double concentrator in Economics and Sociology. She works at the Harvard Federal Credit Union, where she hosts financial literacy workshops, and refines their client resources. This past year, Sophia served as the Development Chair for the Harvard Generational African American Students Association, where she successfully boosted corporate and alumni sponsorships by 200% amidst DEI funding cuts. Her diverse portfolio of interests also spans creative media and community impact, including hosting a weekly radio program and capturing concert photography. Through an internship with Cleveland Avenue, Sophia hopes to leverage her strategic research background to learn the Venture Capital Deal structure and learn how Cleveland Avenue supports its portfolio companies.
