Meley is a rising third-year student at Columbia University pursuing a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Public Health. In her studies, Meley is interested in the dynamic nature of consumer behavior and analyzing the broader implications of ever-changing consumer trends. Her interest in Public Health stems from a passion for community development through service, reflected through her involvement with the Chicagoland Eritrean community tied to her heritage. Through the CAFE Group’s LEAD Internship Program at Cleveland Avenue, she hopes to gain hands-on experience in market research while expanding her knowledge of philanthropic and nonprofit initiatives. In her free time, Meley enjoys baking, exploring cafes with friends, and catching up on her favorite shows.
