Omari Kamal is an incoming sophomore at Morehouse College, where he brings the same relentless drive and discipline that earned him a 4.8 GPA in high school through a rigorous course load of honors and Advanced Placement classes. A Chicago native, Omari carries a competitive edge into everything he pursues, whether in the classroom, on the court, or in the community. At Morehouse, Omari serves on the executive board of PIES, an organization dedicated to the physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual well-being of its members. He is also an active member of Young Shiner Cares, a service group committed to uplifting underserved communities throughout Atlanta. Outside of his organizational commitments, Omari competes in Uncharted Hoops, Morehouse’s premier one-on-one basketball league, a fitting outlet for someone who approaches every competition with the intention of winning. Most recently, Omari completed an internship with Chicagoland Attorneys, where he gained hands-on exposure to real estate law and deepened his understanding of the legal field. This experience has sharpened his focus as he works toward maintaining a 4.0 GPA at Morehouse and pursuing a JD, MBA, or dual JD/MBA degree. Omari’s long-term vision is as bold as his work ethic. He intends to either build an entrepreneurial portfolio worth five million dollars by age twenty-eight or establish himself as one of New York’s premier attorneys.
