Ellyss Davis is a rising third-year student at the University of Iowa, studying Economics in the Tippie College of Business with minors in Music and Spanish. She is passionate about politics, economic mobility, and market dynamics, with a particular interest in the relationship between access to opportunity and social impact. On campus, Ellyss serves as the Chair of Student Life for Undergraduate Student Government, the Community Relations Chair for Black in Business, and a vocalist in the Black Pop Music Ensemble. Following her undergraduate studies, she plans to pursue a master’s degree in Economics and continue working toward her goal of becoming a politician.
